Circular Quay
Circular Quay is the cradle of Sydney, and Australia's European settlement. On 26 January 1788, Captain Arthur Phillip and the First Fleet sailed into Sydney Harbour. The City has risen from this position and sprawled over one hundred kilometres in each direction. The buildings behind are the main Central Business District of the City of Sydney. A part of the Circular Quay scene is the famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
